NICHOLS (FAMOUS), WILLIE - Johnson County, Wyoming | WILLIE NICHOLS (FAMOUS) - Wyoming Gravestone Photos

Willie NICHOLS (FAMOUS)

Willow Grove Cemetery
Johnson County,
Wyoming

May 4, 1887 - June 18, 1901
Murdered near his home at Iron Mountain
Tom Horn hanged for the murder

There is still controversy over whether or not Tom Horn was
the actual killer of Willie. He was arrested fo it, but Sheriff Lefors
got him drunk and tricked him into a confession while a hidden reporter
was writing down his confession. There is room for doubt.
